Clare Gavin Maguire is a former detective officer with vast and varied experience in the fields of intelligence, operations and investigations with An Garda Siochána (Irish Police Force). A fluent Spanish speaker she has also served  with the Interpol office in Dublin.

She has broad experience at all levels of English language teaching, preparing students for a variety of exams (IELTS, CAE, EPE).

She holds a BA in Sociology and Spanish from Trinity College Dublin and a CELTA.
